Cyber-shot is Sony’s line of point-and-shoot digital cameras. Cyber-shot model names a DSC prefix, which is an initialism for “Digital Still Camera”. Many Cyber-shot model features Carl Zeiss trademarked lenses. All Cyber-shot cameras accept Sony’s proprietary Memory Stick or Memory PRO Duo flash memory. Select models have also supported CompactFlash. Current Cyber-shot cameras support Memory Stick PRO Duo, SD and SDHC.

With Sony’s Cyber-shot camera, you can experience detailed-packed high-zoom images. However, sometimes, the great photos or recorded on your camera storage media may often lose due to accidental deletion, storage card formatting or corruption. Since you cannot avoid data loss from your camera, it is a good way to keep a camera photo recovery software for emergency.
Jihosoft Photo Recovery for Mac has been created to help you get back all your important media files that were formatted, corrupted or deleted by mistake. The program will perform a deep scan and recover deleted/lost photos from Sony Cyber-shot R/T/H/W series camera Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo or SD/SDHC Memory Card.
You can do this simply by connecting your camera to the computer with a USB cable or take the storage media card out of the camera and connect it to the computer via a card reader. When the card is detected by the computer, it will display as a removable media in “Computer”.
When launching the Photo Recovery program, your storage media card will display on the main pane with its detailed file name and type information. Select the card and hit right-bottom “Filter Options”.
In the opened “Filter Options” window, click “photo” drop-down list, select and check the photo files types you wish to recover for your Sony Cyber-shot camera. Then click “OK” and “Start Scan” button to start the scanning process.
When the scan is over, all the recoverable files will be listed in the left pane by file formats, you can click the files and view their details in the right pane either by thumbnail or by list. Then check those you want to recover and hit right-bottom “Start Scan” button.
