Jihosoft Video Converter for Mac is an easy to use video conversion application for Mac OS X users. It can convert between all common SD and HD video file formats, extract audio and image from video files. Part One: Convert Between SD and HD Videos on Mac OS X
Being the most powerful Mac video conversion application, Jihosoft Video Converter for Mac converts nearly all the major video file formats even some less-common ones to various popular SD and HD file formats you want.
Import source file
Start Jihosoft Video Converter for Mac, click “Import” icon to add source video files. After loading, all source files will be listed on the left processing panel.
Select output file format
Click “Profile” drop-down list to select your desired output format from the opened profile setting panel, you can output common video, audio, HD video and even devices or applications optimized file formats.
Customize output profile parameters
Click the gear icon on the main screen to open profile settings window, you can reset output file parameters such as video encoder, resolution, bitrate, frame rate, audio encoder, sample rate, bitrate, channel, etc to adapt with your target media player or devices.
Convert Videos on Mac OS X
Hit the right-bottom round “Start” button to start video conversion process.
Part Two: Crop/Trim/Effect/Watermark Videos on Mac OS X
With the build-in video editing features, Jihosoft Video Converter for Mac allows you to crop video file size, merge video files, trim video length, adjust vide color effects, apply image/text watermark.
Crop video size
Under the “Crop” tab, set the crop value in the respective brackets beside “Left”, “Top”, “Width” and “Height”, or directly drag the dot frame around the video frame.
Trim video length
Switch to “Trim” tab, set the “Start Trim Time” and “End Trim Time”, or directly drag the triangles on the play bar to trim video length.
Adjust video effect
Under the “Effect” tab, adjust video saturation, brightness, contrast or add special rendering effect.
Add text or image watermark
Hit “Text Watermark” or “Watermark” tab to add either text or image watermark to your video.
